OUARZAZATE | MOROCCO’S LITTLE HOLLYWOOD
The Ouarzazate region is also known as "Little Hollywood". This is so because of the wide range of films that have been shot on their floor. The grandiosity of the Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, the desert landscapes, palm groves, rivers and surrounding mountains, have made this area a unique enclave for the filming of scenes from films, series and other audiovisual media that have passed certainly to the history of cinema.

Gladiator
Gladiator is a 2000 epic historical drama film directed by Ridley Scott . Crowe portrays Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius, who is betrayed when Commodus, the ambitious son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, murders his father and seizes the throne.
The scenes of slavery, the trip to the desert and the school of gladiators, from the province of Zuchhabar (current Miliana in Algeria) are shot in the Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, Morocco, for three weeks. To build the arena in which Maximus made his first fights, the team used local materials and techniques, making all 30,000 bricks needed with Moroccan soil.

Kingdom of Heaven
Kingdom of Heaven is a 2005 epic historical fiction drama film directed and produced by Ridley Scott and written by William Monahan. The story is set during the Crusades of the 12th century. A French village blacksmith goes to the aid of the Kingdom of Jerusalem in its defence against the Ayyubid Muslim Sultan, Saladin, who is fighting to claim back the city from the Christians
Filming took place in Ouarzazate, Morocco, some scenes of the film was filmed in Atlas film studio



Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a 2010 American action fantasy film directed by Mike Newell. The film was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 28, 2010. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan. The film is an adaptation of the video game of the same name developed and published by Ubisoft.

The Hills Have Eyes is a 1977 American horror film written, directed, and edited by Wes Craven and starring Susan Lanier, Michael Berryman and Dee Wallace. The film follows the Carters, a suburban family targeted by a family of cannibal savages after becoming stranded in the Nevada desert.
